Ok let’s admit: The Smurfs have been in a bit of mediocre streak as of late. As a Smurfs fan, it’s sad to see that the Smurfs have been in 2 terrible live action movies, an ok animated movie and a bad television series on Nickelodeon. I want to bring them back into the spotlight. I’m already working on a Smurfs series somewhere else, but what if we take the Smurf live action Sony movies and turn them into a series and rewrite it?

Hear me out, Movies have a set run time and usually don’t offer enough time for the characters or plot points to grow effectively. Yes, shows can have that problem too. But all I’m saying, being trapped in an odd world sounds episodic. That’s why I’m making this post.

Ok so, what if instead of just Papa, Smurfette, Brainy, Clumsy, Grouchy, Gutsy going to New York, 90 other Smurfs are such in a panic that they don’t see the sign and head towards the forbidden falls and clumsy follows after with papa, smurfette, brainy, grouchy and gutsy following and gargamel and azereal going after the Smurfs. The remaining 4 Smurfs are still in 1500s Belgium.

Instead of living with Patrick and Grace Winslow, they build a substitute village somewhere discrete and while there, they could discover new things as they are trying to find a way home. That’s all the ideas I have for now. You add your own ideas if you want. If you’d like, you could make your own Smurf for this “rewrite”. This is just something that I have had in my head for some time now and wanted to share with other Smurfs fans.

2 things:

1. I noticed that the Harmony Smurf from the Empath: The Luckiest Smurf Mirror Universe isn't up on the Harmony Smurf disambiguation page. I left a comment on the Mirror Universe Harmony's page asking if I could add him to the disambiguation pages.

2. Gourdy's disambiguation page is protected for some reason? Like I couldn't edit it.

And yet they keep editing my pages anyways.
