"A Boy Named Nicholas" is a story that is part of the EMPATH: The Luckiest Smurf story series.

About The Story

From The Author: This became my second December holiday story that was written in 2019 following the completion of "A Wild Winter Solstice". This took a few days as I didn't know where I was going to take the story as far as any potential conflicts that would happen in it.

Plot Summary

Empath tells Polaris the story of how the Smurfs first found Nicholas, a boy who was lost in the forest around the time of the Winter Solstice, and returned him home to his people, only for that boy to later become Nicholas of the North, the legendary Santa Claus. It is at that time that the Smurfs first heard of the holiday known as Christmas.
