Adalbert Lebon is a character who is part of the EMPATH: The Luckiest Smurf story series. He is a farmer who adopted the child known as Jeanty and who sponsored his admission to the Sorcerer's Guild when he discovered that his nephew had magical abilities. Adalbert is a kind gentle person, but doesn't like Jeanty's mischievous nature even with his use of sorcery that he learned. Jeanty in turn feels that his uncle is just limiting his ambitions to become a great sorcerer, but simply plays along with being a good nephew until the opportunity arises for him to gain his success. It is after Brenda the good little witch stopped Jeanty's attempt to take over the Sorcerer's Guild with his magic that Adalbert had enough of his nephew and ultimately disowned him.
