Albus Dumberton (known formally as Dean Albus) is a character who is part of the EMPATH: The Luckiest Smurf story series. He is the Dean of Wizards at the Sorcerer's Guild Academy near the Smurf Forest, who oversees all the activities going on in his school to make sure his teachers are properly training his students in the various magical arts. Having Gargamel as his former student, Albus passed on a rather troublesome youth named Scruple unto Gargamel in the hopes of getting that student permanently out of the Guild. Albus also dealt with another troublemaker by the name of Jeanty, who was around the same age as Scruple.
He is named for the character Albus Dumbledore from the Harry Potter book and film series.
