| Empath Stories |
In the EMPATH: The Luckiest Smurf story series, Empath learned about anger during his first visit to the Smurf Village when he had to deal with Hefty bullying Grouchy, and Hefty didn't like Empath standing up for Grouchy's right to not be bullied. When he was finally released from Psychelia, Empath had to deal with the anger he felt toward Papa Smurf when it was revealed that his father had purposely brought him to Psychelia in order to be trained how to use his abilities.
Hero: The Guardian Smurf stories[]
In the HERO: The Guardian Smurf story series, almost every Smurf expresses their feelings of anger if they are ever feeling irritated by another Smurfs behavior but they never act upon it, especially towards Jokey Smurf; due to his persistent pranks. The only time of which extreme anger was ever shown and acted upon was when Jokey accidentally called Hero a "power-mad freak," which caused Hero's anger to grow to extraordinary levels and deliver a beating so strong it almost cost Jokey his life. The end result was Hero being exiled from the Smurf Village.
Anger also plays a key factor in Hero's overall character by allowing him to achieve powerful transformations after witnessing certain scenarios that provoke his anger to great extents, examples his enemies would use would include: having their way with Smurfette or Wonder (or both at the same time), harming his fellow Smurfs or harming his children. The worse case scenario would be Hero allowing his anger to consume his mind and block out all rational thinking.
Smurfs: The Thomas & Friends Series[]
Anger is used naturally in this series. In the first story, Grouchy finds a friend in James, who has such much anger like him.
