According to the setting he appears in, he is the biological father of Fergus. He taught Fergus everything he needs to know about his heritage and how he should take pride in it.
Like his son Fergus on the outside world, he has a close friendship with Hero's father, Eudard, and has a mutual friendship with Hefty's father, Bryant.

He is a hardworking Smurf and he really cares about his fellow Smurfs. He also takes pride in his heritage.
