Astrid is a character in the Smurf Me Up series.
Background Information[]
Astrid was known for being worshiped by the creatures of the forest many years ago. She is the sister of Flora, who would turn out to be Smurfette years later after the clay transformation. She journeyed the world searching for the wizard who had cursed her sister and ended up defeating him and sending him to the underworld. She never could find her sister ever again until many years later when she encountered Smurfette in the forest and was able to recognize her. She restores Smurfette's memories of her being the goddess who watched over the Belgian forest. She is the leader of her own brotherhood of false gods who are told by a voice to bestow justice among the world. She turns away from her way after she realizes how she and her fellow beings were duped by the voice, who in reality had been lying to them for centuries.
She aids the four warriors by opening a portal to the Underworld, where she sends Brainy as Super Smurf to help them save Flora from becoming the queen of Hell. In the end, she leaves with her fellow super beings as they disappear in outer Smurf.
