Azrin (formerly known as The Treasure Hunter Imp) is a character that appears in the HERO: The Guardian Smurf story series.
Background Information
He sought after the treasure of the trolls, but in order to get it, he either had to marry a fair maiden with a pure heart or collect a number of items. He appeared onto Smurfette, when she wished she could dance without needing to practice, he offered her a pair of magical dancing shoes that would allow her to dance gracefully.
However, the catch was that Smurfette now had to marry him in exchange for the shoes, and with her now wearing the shoes, she was under the imp's control. It wasn't until Papa Smurf stopped him by causing the magic dancing shoes to disappear from Smurfette's feet and appear on his feet along with his gargoyle servants.
In the soon-to-be-published story "The Return of Azrin," he returns to again marry Smurfette, but instead sets his sights on Wonder. He puts her under a spell, which makes her fall deeply in love with him, even agreeing in starting a family with him. This failed to happen when Hero managed to get through to Wonder's mind in order to make her willpower strong enough to break his control over her.

He wears a blue tunic with a belt. He has red hair and a red beard and he wears soft black shoes.
