Blossom is a character who is part of the EMPATH: The Luckiest Smurf story series. She is a wise old woodelf who likes watching things grow and mature, and will often help young plants reach maturity. One time when she was visiting the Smurf Village, the Smurflings asked her if she could use her power to make them mature adult Smurfs, and despite her warnings that her aging them into adulthood cannot be undone, she gave the young Smurflings what they desired. She later learned of the power of Father Time's Reverse Clock when the grown-up Smurflings used it to revert back to their proper Smurfling ages, and though she preferred not using it on herself, as she believed that it is natural for her to be in her proper advanced age, she was glad that the Smurflings got back their youth.
Blossom is the great-grandmother of Laconia and is believed to be the one who taught the mute woodelf how to speak in sign language.
