Brainy's studio is the secondary location of Brainy Smurf's activities in both the comic books and cartoon show. In the film Smurfs: The Lost Village, Brainy's house is turned into a laboratory for his inventions.
Empath: The Luckiest Smurf stories[]
It is the secondary location of Brainy Smurf's activities in the EMPATH: The Luckiest Smurf story series. It is where he composes the writings for his books, mostly his Quotations Of Brainy Smurf series. He rarely allows any Smurf to visit him in his studio when he is busy at work writing a book.
Hero: The Guardian Smurf stories[]
Brainy in the HERO: The Guardian Smurf story series eventually shares his studio with his Mirror Of Opposition-created counterpart Athena Smurfette, where they both work on writing on books full of philosophy and advanced literature.
LD Stories[]
Within The Light and Dark Series, Brainy often uses his studio for the purpose of writing his many Quotations book series along with other various books. He rarely allows anyone, including Papa Smurf, to intrude upon his studio while he is working. Not even his best friend, Clumsy, is allowed to enter unless he gives his verbal consent, although the situation must be important for this to happen.
He primarily will publish the books written in his studio with help from Reporter, but sometimes Reporter either refuses or is unavailable to help. On these occasions, Brainy has been known to publish his items in his own studio with a small printing press that Handy built for him.
Intruders[]
From time to time despite his warnings, Moxette invites herself inside just to see what he's working on. Brainy is always debating whether she does this to annoy him, or she is simply curious and taking interest in his work. He used to kick her out like any other Smurf, but after the fifth or sixth time, he has given up and allows her to stay as long as she does not disturb his train of thought.
