In the EMPATH: The Luckiest Smurf story series, Greedy and Biscotti make brownies for their fellow Smurfs, although Greedy tends to make them more for himself. It is one of the food items that Nabby steals from the kitchen, much to Greedy's chagrin.
Some Smurfs bake brownies using valerian root as an ingredient, while Lazy prefers using smurfnip. These type of brownies are often referred to as "nip brownies", having the same effect on Smurfs as would a "pot brownie" on humans -- a relaxing "body high". Chatty and Nosey Smurf's wives would make "nip brownies" to serve at The Wake N Bake Brew Shop.
