Cassiopeia is a Psyche character who lives in Psychelia in the EMPATH: The Luckiest Smurf story series.

She is a student who serves as an apprentice of the medics, often monitoring Psyches who are mortally injured that are put in healing chambers so that they can be restored. Like all Psyches, she is bonded to a same-sex partner, though she often has curiosity about the opposite sex and wonders why she couldn't be bonded to a male Psyche. Unfortunately, she has to constantly purge herself of those thoughts lest she bring upon herself the wrath of the Psyche Master. Her object of constant study is Empath Smurf, who she can't help feeling somewhat attracted to despite his being of another race.
In the story "Hefty, The Luckiest Smurf", Cassiopeia is forced to become Empath's mate in order to quell his desires in another timeline. The initial experience of mating with Empath left her in tears, but over time she came to accept that this would be a recurring condition of Empath that required constant care.
