The older end of this generation overlaps with Gutsy Smurf's generation, making Handy Smurf technically qualify as both.

Brainy Smurf's generation, as with the other generations, consists of Smurfs born within a 150-year time span. For this generation, the time span ranged from 0 to 75 years old during the events of the First Bzz Plague, and at the time of The Creation of The Smurfette, ranges from 74 to 224 years old. Or at least it should. Due to outside factors, the youngest member of this generation is 149 years old at the time of The Creation of The Smurfette.
