Personality
He is one of the two laboratory assistants in the village. Chemistry is his hobby, job, and knowledge. He knows the periodic table by heart. But everything is not so perfect for him. Chemist wants to position himself as the smartest, he gets very angry when his mistakes are pointed out to him, when someone is smarter than him, when his experiences fail, when he was deceived. Chemist has an unfulfilled desire: to discover a new chemical element to name it "Smurfonium" (Sf) for all chemists of other races. At the request of smurfs, he can make potions, chemicals. Chemist has a special smurf language. He has a biased attitude towards Francisms, in his speech he replaces Francisms with Portuguese words, and if Chemist needs to read a French text, he reads it according to the rules of reading Portuguese. Read more about this in another paragraph. Alpha found the lost baby Chemist on the grounds of the Rio Chemical Institute when Alpha traveled to South America in 1930.

Lab colleague, friend, rival. They often conduct experiments together, and less often they argue about whose science is better.
• Runner smurfling
The relationship between Runner and Chemist is similar to that between a student and a teacher. Chemist and Physicist often invite Runner to their experiments.
• Insecta and Simplifier
They either out of curiosity or nothing better to do, interfere with the experiments of Chemist and Physicist. They sometimes go into the laboratory without asking to find interesting things there.
