Denisa is a character who is part of the EMPATH: The Luckiest Smurf story series. She is the niece of Lord Balthazar who was rescued from a pack of wolves with the help of Sassette, after which the two of them became friends. Their encounter took place about four years after Empath's final return from Psychelia. Empath is particularly surprised at how unlike her uncle Denisa is and hopes that the Smurfs would give her a good example to follow as she grows into a young woman.
