Diana of Themyscira is a character who is part of the EMPATH: The Luckiest Smurf story series.
Background Information[]
She is the daughter of Hippolyta, the queen of the mythical Amazons who in the story series live on the island of Themyscira. The Smurfs meet with her during their time-traveling adventures in The Lost Year, and though her mother was originally mistrustful of their intentions upon their arrival on the island, she was willing to put the care of Diana into their trust as they helped to save the island from being taken over by the demonic hordes of Hades, who sought to take over the island and make the Amazons his slaves.
Though she shares the same name of the character who is commonly known as Wonder Woman from DC Comics' Wonder Woman series, the Diana of Themyscira in this series is still a young child and hasn't yet grown into the role that her mother has planned for her. She does, however, go by the nickname of "Wonder Girl" by the elder Amazon sisters who watch over her.
Powers And Abilities[]
Diana has superhuman strength for a girl her physical age, and can run very fast. She is very good with wielding a lasso, which she uses to capture any prey she chases after. Her silver bracelets allow her to deflect any kind of projectile that has aimed at her.
