Edward "Eddie" Smurftofen is a Smurf character that appears in the HERO: The Guardian Smurf story series.
Background Information
Edward is a Smurf that has suffered from Schizophrenia from a very young age, which makes it hard for him to work with the other Smurfs as they get scared of him appearing to talk to himself. Even Papa Smurf and Doctor have trouble diagnosing what caused his illness in the first place and has thus remained a mystery, because of this, Papa Smurf keeps his eye on him whenever he works with the other Smurfs.
He does try to help his fellow Smurfs in their daily activities, but it is hard for him due to his illness.
Deep down in his heart, he wishes he did not have the illness as it causes him to be kept out of certain activities.
Personality
Due to his illness, he sometimes acts crazy and insane, but he really is a kind and helpful Smurf, he also cares dearly about his fellow Smurfs.
He despises Dempsey, as he thinks he is just a showoff.
Appearance
He wears a dark green Smurf hat, a dark green jacket with a grey strap and belt with a brown pouch on it, black Smurf pants with a red stripe down the right leg, brown shoes and there is a scar under his right eye.
Survival Attire
Whenever he plays the Survival game setting in the Imaginarium, besides his regular attire; he can also choose to wear medieval armor consisting of a red and white robe over a set of chain mail with a belt strapped around his waist.
