"Empath Goes Wild" is a story that takes place in the EMPATH: The Luckiest Smurf story series.

About The Story[]

Part of this story was begun around 2007 to 2008, and has been on hold for several years until recently when access to Wild Smurf's origin story on video was made available.

Plot Summary[]

Empath's Alternate Timeline Self

Traveler enters an alternate timeline and sees what Empath would become if he was born without his "minds-eye" abilities, only to discover that the alternate Empath would become lost in the forest as a baby Smurf and be raised by squirrels until the time comes when he appears among his fellow Smurfs as "the wild Smurf".

Notes[]

  • The story is a loose adaptation of the cartoon show episode "Smurf On The Wild Side", with parts adapted from the comic book story "The Wild Smurf" and featuring an element of "The Smurfs That Time Forgot", "Lost In The Ages", and "Cave Smurfs".
  • The timeline that Traveler first appeared in after touching the Wheel Of Alternity is loosely based on the events of The Raven Child's "How Things Smurf" from her Smurfette Village fanfiction series.
  • In the portion of the story where the Smurfs are time-traveling to bring Crinkles back home, Grandpa Smurf does not appear.
