The Expanded Animated Universe (or Expanded AU) is a designation for the series of stories created by Esquilo30 with original or adapted characters from the 1980s Smurfs cartoon show. It is intended to be an extension of the cartoon show itself, which serves as a solution to the "continuity lockout" of the mainstream series.
