Background Information
With no general name, he goes by only "Father Time" and is an immortal God-like being whose sole purpose is to protect the fragile balance of time in the universe. While firm, mellow, and sometimes temper-mental, he is considered of neutral morality because the passage of time is steady and adheres to no one in particular, good or bad.
He is capable of time travel, abruption, or opening portals to alternate realities leading into other dimensions, but he will only do so if it is absolutely necessary to maintain proper order in the universe.
Relations
His work often goes hand-in-hand with Mother Nature, with whom he is bound by the laws of physics. He is also quite familiar with Papa Smurf and his little Smurfs and hopes that time will work in their favor, although he holds no advantages for them personally. He is also on respective terms with the Wizard Homnibus.
However, he has a growing disliking of Gargamel since his primary focus is to spend his time terrorizing the Smurfs in his remaining years. He does not officially punish him for his misdeeds until Mother Nature's (Re)Creation of Season 2.
Appearance
Father Time typically takes the appearance of an elderly causacian man with a floor-length grey beard and hair outgrown in the back, but none growning on his crown. He has matching bushy eyebrows, standard black eyes, and stands about 5'9" (American measurement). He wears a long white robe with a thin dark brown waist-belt, but prefers to go barefoot.
Voice Actor(s)
His original voice actor was Alan Oppenheimer and a latter has yet to be chosen.
Trivia
- He is mentioned in the comic book version of "The Smurflings," but does not actually appear in the story.
