The Heart of the Ocean (also known as Le Cœur de la Mer) is the name of a fictional blue diamond featured prominently in the 1997 film Titanic.
Hero: The Guardian Smurf stories[]
At an early point in the series, Hero, with the help of Miner and Handy created a necklace with a diamond chain, with a heart-shaped amulet attached to it containing a rare blue diamond to present to Wonder as her birthday present. But due to its beauty, it caused a lot of arguments amongst the Smurfettes as to who would wear it. So it was hidden away in a secret location known only to Hero. But Hero did allow Wonder to wear it whenever she wanted to, but under careful consideration that no other Smurfette must be around whenever she does decide to wear it. It wasn't until later in the future when Hero had married Smurfette, that he gave it to her as a Christmas present.
On most occasions where Wonder would wear the necklace, Painter would always ask her to pose Au naturale, wearing only the necklace. But she would always refuse to go through with it. That is however, until she got married, that she wanted to give Hero something rather special and unique as a Christmas present, that she finally decided to allow Painter to draw her Au naturale.
Empath: The Luckiest Smurf stories[]
In the EMPATH: The Luckiest Smurf story series, Handy created this type of necklace in the hopes that he would someday give it to his beloved, Marina the mermaid. Unfortunately, due to the events where Marina ended up falling in love with Dylan the Snorkelian, Handy never got the chance to give it to her and instead presented it as a gift to his future wife Gadget Smurfette.
Smurf Me Up stories[]

In the Smurf Me Up story Titanic, the necklace is featured being given to Smurfette by Hefty Smurf. Later on, Hefty and Gargamel frame Glovey Smurf and make Smurfette believe at first that he had stolen the necklace. Smurfette also requests Glovey to sketch her while she modeled nude and wore the necklace to paint.
Trivia[]

- The idea of Painter in the HERO series wanting to paint Wonder Au naturale wearing only the necklace is a reference to the 1997 film Titanic, where Leonardo DiCaprio's character Jack Dawson draws Kate Winslet's character Rose DeWitt Bukater Au naturale wearing only the necklace.
- Numbuh 404 owns two versions of this necklace, both obtained from different cities in Ireland. The larger replica was purchased from the Titanic Exhibit in Cork while the smaller replica was from a side shop down the street in Cobh.
- A Heroic Smurf owns a version of his necklace, obtained from the Titanic Museum in Belfast, Northern Ireland in August 2019.
