Etainia "Hefty" Noctis (known mostly as Hefty Smurf) is a Smurf character who is a part of the Bioau story series.
History[]
Hefty was born as the daughter of Smithy Smurf and Husky Smurf. He was their first child, but 39 years later, his younger sister (then known as his brother) was born. He had a fairly okay childhood- until he was 61, when the First Bzz Plague happened.
He recovered after that, and raised Grouchy mostly on his own. At that time, Grouchy was known as Easygoing Smurf, and lived up to that name. However, a couple years before the beginning of Arc 1, a second Bzz Plague hit the village. While this one was cured and everyone survived, it had a lasting effect on Grouchy Smurf, changing her personality completely. As Grouchy's brother, Hefty was very emotionally affected by her change.
Hefty figured out he was a man very recently as of Arc 1, and is still dealing with the confusion of transitioning.

Personality[]
Hefty is brave, confident, and protective of those he cares about. He's strong-willed and trustworthy, and is often on the heroic side. However, despite his innate goodness, Hefty is very prone to getting aggressive, and will sometimes hurt Smurfs who don't deserve it. He's also very easily manipulated.
Relationships[]
- Grouchy Smurf: Grouchy is his little sister, who he cares a lot about. She was very young when they were orphaned, and so he basically raised her. He wants the best for her in every situation, and ever since she got ill, he's been trying to figure out how to make her happy.
- Handy Smurf: Handy Smurf is his closest friend. The two of them spend a lot of time together, helping each other out, watching each other's backs, and just hanging out. They get into arguments and fights a lot, but always end up making up afterwards.
- Brainy Smurf: Brainy and Hefty do not like each other. Hefty thinks Brainy is obnoxious and a jerk, but instead of telling him any of this, he prefers to work out his problems with Brainy using violence. The two of them have had this rivalry for a long time.
Role[]
Hefty mainly carries the heavy load that others Smurfs can't. He is also one of the few Smurfs who will accept any kind of dangerous journey, making him one of the top choices to send out of the Village to retrieve something.
Appearance[]
Hefty is biologically female. His hair is buzzed short, but some brown stubble peeks out from under his hat.
He's of average height, but has wide shoulders and is very muscular and well-built. He wears a white sports bra in order to be able to work out whenever he feels like it. His skin is a dark moderate blue, and he has matching dark red heart tattoos on both of his arms. His eyes, like his hair, are brown.
Abilities[]
Innate Magic: Hefty is one of those Smurfs with a powerful innate magic. He has strength slightly above that of a normal smurf, able to lift four pounds, and possibly more if he builds up his muscles enough.
Trivia[]
- Hefty is demisexual, meaning that he doesn't start being attracted to people until he's known them for a while.
- Hefty and Brainy's dislike for each other started when Brainy was 75 and Hefty was 136. Those ages, in the Bioau, are approximately equivalent to a 10 year old child and a teenager. When their rivalry started, Brainy was very much just "my best friend's obnoxious little sister" to Hefty, which later evolved into their current dynamic.
