"Hefty vs. Hero" is a story that takes place in the HERO: The Guardian Smurf story series.
Plot Summary

Hero helps his fellow Smurfs in their various duties, using the strength of the Power Stones to help him complete tasks that looked impossible to complete. Because of this the other Smurfs believe that Hero is the strongest Smurf, making Hefty jealous and that causes him to challenge Hero to a quarterstaff fight at the Olympic arena.
During the fight the quarterstaff's break and the fight turns into an all out brawl between the two, eventually leaving the two of them badly bruised and beaten. They awaken the next morning in the village hospital, with Papa Smurf furious with the two of them.
The two of them soon agree to never get into another fight again.
