Hogatha is a human character that is part of the HERO: The Guardian Smurf story series.
Background Information
She is a short, fat, ugly and lonely witch who wears an orange wig to hide her baldness. Her main desire is to make herself attractive enough to have the man of her dreams fall in love with her. As her name suggests, Hogatha snorts like a pig when she laughs or talks. She rides a pet vulture that she calls Harold, and her favorite holiday is Halloween because she loves to scare children.
In the story "Hero's Wedding," she and Chlorhydris team up in order to ruin the happy day for the two Smurfs, but the plan does not work out when Hawkeye launches an arrow at Smurfette's cage and gives Hero enough time to rescue Wonder and the others time to escape, before Hero causes the observatory to explode.
