Background Information
Originally named "Dipper" by his thieving guardian, Shadrach, he was raised in poverty as a result of the man's despicable lifestyle choices. In order to survive whenever Shadrach would land in prison, the boy was forced to steal food for himself. And in times when Shadrach would escape from prison and seek Dipper out, it would only be for a plan to rob unsuspecting villagers of their money, allowing them the chance to buy clothes or food.
When Dipper stole Homnibus' handbag while in the marketplace, he was caught with Shadrach by the magistrate and sentenced to a life in prison. However, Homnibus refused to testify on his behalf since his handbag was returned and Dipper pleaded that he did not want to become a criminal, but rather it was merely his guardian who had control over him.
A New Start
After Homnibus agreed to adopt him, he had his name changed to "Justin" and became enrolled in school so that he could start a new path leading to a fulfilling future. He had some bumps in the road (being accused of stealing again only to be proven innocent by his caretaker), but he has progressively proven himself to be both a humble and inquisitive young lad. He spends most of his time exploring, studying, and reading.
Despite his new caretaker being a prominently known enchanter with a rich repertoire of magic, spells, and charms, Justin knows nothing about the ways of sorcery except that it exists in the world. Homnibus intends to reveal his power when Justin is old enough to understand it all -- and perhaps in this revelation, the boy may come to harness his own skills with Homnibus' help. If not, his caretaker will love him no less.
Appearance
He has short light brown hair with bushy bangs, standard black eyes, pale skin, and a small, but healthy figure. As a child, he only stands about 3'9" (American measurement), but is expected to be much taller as an adult. He wears a yellow tunic with a sharp collar, a dusty blue waist belt with a round cobalt buckle, matching leggings, and cobalt blue shoes.
