Lord Poppery is a character who is part of the HERO: The Guardian Smurf story series, appearing in the story "The Hungry Smurfs".
Background Information
He lives alone in a castle that he claims is being haunted by a real ghost who has been stealing all his things, including his food. However when the Smurfs enter his castle, they soon discover that not only is he doing the haunting by appearing in a headless suit of armor and also making a harpsichord play by itself with a candelabra "floating" in the air, but also the "real ghost" who's been stealing all his food was simply a hungry pack rat, who has also been stealing his valuables. He appears grateful when the Smurfs expose the "real ghost" for what it was and offers not only his food but also some of his valuables, in which the Smurfs refuse because they have no need for it. He is left in his castle now sharing his food with the rat that soon became his pet.
His most desired voice actor would be Brian Blessed.
