"Major Makeovers" is the 5th episode of Season 2 in The Smurfs: Light and Dark. It is set to run between 8 - 10 minutes in length. It is also the twenty-fifth episode of the overall series.
Synopsis
When the Clockwork Smurfette begins to notice how clunky and primitively built she is compared to Clockwork Smurf, she decides to ask her creator for a upgrade. When Handy sets to work, he discovers ways to give her improved feet, joint movement, vision, and head rotation; he even wants to removes the turn-key in her back. In the meantime, Smurfette and the Smurflings are out picking daisies for a bouquet to present to her and Handy -- assuming all goes well with her upgrades. Unfortunately, Hogatha just happens to see them and vies for Smurfette's beauty to be her own, and she has just the spell for the job.
Will Clockette's upgrade operation be a success? What will become of Smurfette when she is captured by Hogatha?

Trivia
- Based on the spell Hogatha uses in "Smurfette's Golden Tresses" (Season 8, 1988), the ingredients mentioned are as follows: "a wart from a vulture's beak, a flea from a hound, and a lock of the hair that you wish to wear. Mix in a bowl with fine colognes, and pour on the place where you want more hair." As Hogatha tells Smurfette, the spell specifically calls for the hair you want to be cut by the owner, which is why Hogatha did not attempt to cut Smurfette's hair on her behalf.
- This episode was originally titled "Clockette's Upgrades" since its conception. It was renamed to "Major Makeovers" on June 7th, 2019 during one of the author's revision periods.
