Background Information

Rarely seen in the village, Miner is a chipper Smurf with a passion for spelunking, and he finds the most happiness when he is down in the mines. While some claim him to be on the anti-social side, he welcomes anyone who joins his mining excursions. He has a strange sense of humor, but his sharp wit earns him a laugh in any conversation.

Relationship with Moxette Smurfette

Miner officially meets Moxette sometime between "Moxette's Crazy, Stupid Love" and "Kiddie Crushes."

  • Season 2 -- Papa Smurf deems her punishment as being Miner's mining assistant, which requires being outside the village and away from her fellow Smurfs for long periods of time. This allowed her and Miner to form a close bond since she proves to be a hard worker and a witty conversationalist. He also takes delight in her impersonations -- especially ones of Vanity, Jokey, or Brainy. While he has no particularly romantic feelings for her, he does view her as a close friend and believes she will someday bring one lucky Smurf great adventure should she marry.
