Papa Smurf is a character who is part of the Expanded Animated Universe.
History[]
Prior to the beginning of the Expanded AU story events, he was responsible for raising a hundred young male Smurfs and two young female Smurfs as both the leader of the Smurf Village and their sole father figure. A year before the events of the Expanded AU, Papa Smurf was among seventeen Smurfs who have all been lost in time due to the loss of the Ruby Key that controlled the arrangement of the Time Crystals. A year later, he and those same Smurfs all returned to the present time of the story series, with Papa Smurf resuming his role as the village leader.
Personality[]
His personality is identical to that of his cartoon show counterpart: he is a caring protective father figure who looks after the welfare of his little Smurfs, guiding them in their individual roles as members of the Smurf Village.
Abilities[]
Papa Smurf is a master sorcerer, skilled in various forms of magic, which he uses to protect his little Smurfs from danger.
