Pixies are small fairy-like creatures that resemble human females in the show. The most commonly known ones are those which live in Pussywillow Hollow -- the Pussywillow Pixies. There is also a male pixie named King Goldenrod, whose daughter Periwinkle is very vain and beautiful. They seem to grow like humans; for instance, Acorn is just a child while Elderberry is, as her name hints, an old pixie.

Pixies in the EMPATH: The Luckiest Smurf story series tend to differ according to their region of origin, with the Pussywillow Pixies primarily being a single-gender species while Periwinkle and King Goldenrod belong to a two-gendered species of pixies. All reproduction is primarily non-physical, as they tend to sprout from buds on special plants.
The Second Smurfette Series[]
Pixies in The Second Smurfette reproduce through physical means. The most popular group of Pixies would be the Pussywillow Pixies with a new addition, Skelly. Skelly was a Flying Sprite but was turned into a Pixie by Mother Nature. Dusk is a male Pixie whose origin is unknown.
Another grounp of Pixies are the Pixies in Scald Forest who were clipped of their wings and enslaved by a wizard named Morder. Twitty and Tawni are two Pixlings who reside in Scald Forest.
LD Stories/Expanded AU[]
In Season 10 for Numbuh 404's episodes, there are two Pussywillow Pixies who are yet to be given their own introductions: one male and female. Tulip first briefly appears in Tripped Up as a cameo character pranked by the two main Woodsprites, Ripple and Karma. She wants to meet a male Pixie, but has never had luck on her search.
Likewise, a male Pussywillow Pixie has yet to appear and is so far nameless. More to come later!
Esquilo30's Pixies[]
Like Numbuh 404, Season 10 contains Pixies created from a fellow contributor, Esquilo30: Piximps are creatures that appear in Balthazar's Quest and it is revealed that they are the reincarnation of dead Pixies with criminal backgrounds. One Piximp lives and works alongside the Smurfs.
