Prince Jared is a human character that is part of the EMPATH: The Luckiest Smurf story series.

He is the son of King Gerard and Queen Guinevere, who was born a year after Gerard and Guinevere's wedding, placing him at around 8 years old at the time of Empath and Smurfette's wedding. He had a group of Clockwork Smurfs, led by Papa and Mama Clockwork, as his toys and playmates, and usually took care of them while Papa and Mama Clockwork were away.

He is usually a cheerful child who is always curious about the real Smurfs that his father Gerard had met in his early years. He considers the Clockwork Smurf family the closest thing he ever had to real Smurfs living with him.
