Sassette is a Smurf character who is a part of The Smurfs: Two Sides. She is one of the Smurflings.

Information

The only girl of the Smurfling quartet, Sassette’s fiery red braids betray an equally fiery personality. She's playful, energetic, and curious. She's very smart for her age, learning new things quickly and able to come up with clever plans.

While a tomboy, she still loves to play with her doll, Smurfy Lou, and play dress-up.

Due to being created from Gargamel’s spell, she sees him as her father, calling him “Pappy Gargamel.” She’s excited to meet the new girls, who she sees as new sisters.

Relationships

Smurf Village

• Brainy Smurf: Out of all the Smurflings, Brainy Smurf is closest with Sassette, probably because she's the one most willing to put up with him. Brainy sees himself as a responsible adult role model for Sassette, and often tries to teach her things. But really, Sassette is the clever one of the two, and knows exactly what to say to make Brainy go along with her ideas.
• Clumsy Smurf: Despite the Smurflings being kids, Clumsy treats them as his equals. They all like him because of that.
• Grandpa Smurf: Grandpa has a grandfather-granddaughter relationship with Sassette, who affectionately calls him "Grampy". Sassette is often the Smurfling with the most faith in Grandpa, rushing to his defense when her fellow Smurfs treat him unfairly. She often goes to him for comfort when she's sad.
• Papa Smurf: Sassette likes Papa Smurf a lot, and sees him as another father for her. She calls him "Pappy Smurf."
• Smurfette: Due to being made from the same clay and the same spell, Sassette is Smurfette's little sister. Despite their contrasting interests, the two get along well.

The Smurflings

• Nat Smurfling: Nat and Sassette are good friends, although he's the least likely of the Smurflings to engage with her more "girly" interests.
• Slouchy Smurfling: Slouchy and Sassette are good friends. Slouchy has a little "puppy love" crush on Sassette.
• Snappy Smurfling: On the surface, Snappy and Sassette don't seem to get along, as they argue with each other a lot. However, they're also the most likely Smurflings to spend time with each other outside of the full group.

Smurfy Grove

• Smurfstorm: Sassette thinks Smurfstorm is super cool! She sees Smurfstorm as a mentor, and tells anyone who will listen that she wants to grow up to be just like her! Smurfstorm, meanwhile, does not know how to handle children, and is always a bit awkward around Sassette.
• Smurfwillow: Sassette sees Smurfwillow as a mother, and calls her "Mommy Willow." Smurfwillow thinks it's sweet and treats Sassette like her own daughter.

Other

• Gargamel: Sassette also likes Gargamel much more than the other Smurfs, thinking of him as her father. She calls him "Pappy Gargamel." Gargamel sees Sassette like any other Smurf, and wants her dead.

Abilities

• Musical skill, which all Smurfs except Harmony have. Sassette can play several instruments, including the tambourine, the piano, and the harp.

Weaknesses

• Does not have a good singing voice
• Trusts Gargamel way too much

Appearance

Sassette is a young female smurfling with ginger hair in two long braids. She usually wears pink overalls with no shirt underneath.

Notes

• Sassette always wears her hair in braids, even when she's sleeping.
• Sassette's "princess" costume for Halloween is actually based off of Dorothy Gale from the Oz book series.
