Eddward Marion "Smarty" Smurf is a Smurf character that is part of the HERO: The Guardian Smurf story series.
Background Information
He is the son of Brainy and Athena who, like his parents, was born with a keen intellectual mind. He is also keen in creating anything he puts his mind to, making Handy his favorite uncle Smurf.
When his other uncle Smurfs told him everything his Papa Smurf used to do when he was younger, he vowed to himself to not become what he was -- an annoyance.
During his Smurfling years, he along with a few other Smurflings of his generation became infatuated with Miracle Smurfette and tried to spend time with her.
Personality
He is rather scrupulous, but kindly and a good-intentioned Smurf. Docile and disciplined, he willingly adheres to the laws and regulations of his community. With his love and desire for order, he occasionally undertakes the role of a peacemaker. He is incredibly gentle and accepting, albeit sometimes awkward and timid in his interactions, particularly with Smurfettes. Although considered an outcast, he is a generally well-respected, if not appreciated, member of his peer group, whom he gladly counsels and assists if need be. Even so, he is something of a "goody-two-shoes," wishing to please and accommodate to the needs of others.
Appearance
He wears a pair of glasses with round frames and the standard white Smurf hat, an orange shirt (on most occasions a red shirt), purple pants and cyan-colored shoes.

The desired voice actor would be Samuel Vincent, who voiced the character Edd in the Ed, Edd n Eddy cartoon series. Another suitable candidate would be Ben Diskin, who was known for the voices of Hoagie P.
