About The Story[]
Author's Notes: I wanted to create a female counterpart to Gourdy for a series of stories that would help elevate Smurfette's status among her fellow Smurfs. It took several years for me to come up with a story that would best introduce the character into the series, and then much of it fell into place in only a few days, being they very last story I have written and finished in 2018.
Plot Summary[]
One day as Smurfette goes out into the forest, she finds a small bottle of perfume just lying around in the open. She opens the bottle and suddenly a female genie with pink hair comes out of it, calling herself Ghinelle. She is so pleased that her mistress has found her that she wants to do anything that will please her. However, Ghinelle's presence causes a problem with Farmer's genie Gourdy, who senses that another genie is present and that two genies cannot occupy the same space together without trouble erupting.

- Slouchy references the incident in the Smurfs cartoon show "The Tallest Smurf" where Gourdy grants Slouchy the wish of being the tallest Smurf by making every other Smurf ant-size in comparison.
