In spring, the Smurfs celebrate Easter and April Smurf's Day. It is the time of the year when Farmer begins preparing his fields for the new crops he will plant and raise.
Baseball tends to be a popular sport that begins in spring. Mother Nature is usually at work in the forest with a green wand to make trees come to life with new buds. Likewise, most animals will find mates and reproduce during this season so that their offspring will be able to survive the upcoming winter months.

Josten Lancaster celebrates his birthday in May, which is never overlooked by King Gerard after Clockwork first marked it on their calendar.
