Sweepy Smurf of Sotas (known mostly as Sweepy) is a Smurf character who is a part of the Bioau story series.
History[]
Sweepy Smurf of Sotas was born the first son of Breezy Smurf and Sweepy Smurf of Aesce. 23 years later, his younger brother Slouchy was born. He was only 40 when his father started training him in being a chimney sweep and quickly earned the name Sweepy Smurfling, often being called by the nickname of "Sweepy Junior," or "S.J."
When Sweepy Jr. was 73, the First Bzz Plague happened and his mother died. When Sweepy Jr. was 142, Sweepy Sr. died due to occupational hazards, and Sweepy Jr. took over the role of village chimney sweep. He lost the "Jr." suffix to his name soon after adulthood, since Sweepy Sr. was dead.
Personality[]
Sweepy Smurf is a cheery and amiable Smurf who works hard at his job. He forgets things easily, almost constantly forgetting to tell Smurfs before he cleans their chimneys. Due to his job, he's always dirty, and he never makes an attempt to clean up. After all, he'll just get dirty again!
Relationships[]
- Greedy Smurf: Greedy Smurf dislikes Sweepy for how unhygenic he is. Sweepy thinks Greedy is annoying, but is polite to him regardless.
- Chef Smurf: Sweepy Smurf and Chef Smurf do not get along. The animosity between them mainly revolves around scheduling conflicts, and the fact Sweepy never tells Chef his plans. Pretty much every time the two interact, Chef ends up yelling.
- Laundry Smurf: Sweepy Smurf puts off cleaning Laundry's chimney as long as he can, because if he accidentally gets her dirty, she'll start crying. This is incredibly awkward every time it happens, and so Sweepy tries to avoid it.
- Slouchy Smurf: Slouchy Smurf is Sweepy's little brother. Busy with their own lives, the two mainly spend time together on holidays.
Role[]
Sweepy is the village chimney sweep who's responsible for cleaning the ash and soot out of every Smurf's chimney.
Appearance[]
Sweepy Smurf is average height and very skinny. He wears a black coat, black tights, and a red scarf. He also wears a ragged black top hat that used to belong to his father. He doesn't wear white, despite societal norms, because anything white he tried to wear would quickly be stained grey.
Sweepy's eyes are a dark brown, and his hair is black. His dull grey-blue skin is stained with so much ash that it sometimes looks just plan grey.
Abilities[]
Sweepy Smurf has incredible agility and the ability to slip through small places. These abilities are necessary for him to do his job.

- The incredibly young age at which Sweepy started helping his father is based on the young age at which Victorian chimney sweeps started working.
- Sweepy is listed as a cartoon-only import, because while he makes a cameo in the comics, he does not talk or do anything there.
