Téméraire is a Smurf character who is part of the EMPATH: The Luckiest Smurf story series. He is one of the two guards, the other being Costaud, who stand watch outside the gate of the Emerald Village in the land of Odds. His behavior and mannerisms are identical to that of Duncan McSmurf from the Smurf Village.
As a bit of trivia, Téméraire is the French name used for Gutsy Smurf in the foreign market release of the 2011 Smurfs movie.
