This page contains the full list of magical objects, symbols, and elements that exist within The Smurfs: Light and Dark. They are organized in alphabetical order.
Items of Good Creation
- Blue Moonstone -- A naturally-occurring gemstone that turns blue when it has been enchanted by water and the light of the Blue Moon. This process will only be successful if the one who seeks to enchant a moonstone has pure intentions for doing so, such as giving it to a loved one. Legend states that a blue moonstone will reveal the purity and strength in any living creature, making it a rare and highly sought after gemstone.
- The Breckenridge Diamond -- An incredible diamond that will be introduced in "The Diamond of Desire."
- Brenda's Wand -- A powerful wand owned by the student witch, Brenda. While she attended Witch Haven Conservatory, she had much difficulty casting evil spells, but once she learned what it meant to be Good, it became dramatically easier for her to cast spells with good intent.
- Lucky's Clover -- To be revealed in "Luck of the Smurf."
- The Long Life Stone -- A crystal with the power of giving the Smurfs their extended lifespan of 1,000+ years as its name suggests. It is considered their greatest treasure, which they safeguard more than anything else in the village, and it must be replenished every 1,000 years with pure samples of the four primary elements: Earth, Water, Fire, and Air. Unsavory characters who know of the Smurfs may wish to harness the power of the Long Life Stone to gain immortality, which would bring an end to the Smurfs altogether.
- The Wheel of Creation -- A powerful spinning wheel created and operated by Mother Nature. It spins constantly in a steady motion and maintains a perfect balance for the amount of life and death found throughout the world at all times. Disrupting this wheel's motions or attempting to alter it will bring the alteration of every living being on Earth until balance is restored. It is set to be introduced in Mother Nature's (Re)Creation.
Items of Wicked Creation
- The Eye of the Beast Amulet -- To be revealed in "My Kingdom for a Crook."
- The Goblet of Immortality -- To be revealed in "The Goblet of Eternal Servitude."
- The Mark of Goliath -- To be revealed in Take Back the Knight.
- Mystico's Fountain -- A magic fountain that once contained the imprisoned goblin, Mystico. When someone attempted to obtain water with the accompanying golden goblet, Mystico was released and would wreak havoc unless someone could place the goblet onto his head. Nobody Smurf was able to save his fellow goblin-turned Smurfs by doing just that, and Mystico was returned to the mountain. He did not gain permanent freedom until the events of The Goblin's Admiration.
- The Silencer Amulet -- To be revealed in Balthazar's Apprentice.
- The Soul Staff -- An ancient staff that curses whomever holds it, turning them into an immortal being that must drain the life force of others to maintain their immortality. It slowly corrupts the user over time, leaving them a shell of the being that they once were. It is set to be introduced in Mechanical Hero.
Items of Neutral or Ambiguous Creation
- The Enchanted Quill -- A golden quill that is enchanted with the power to answer any question truthfully by whomever commands it. It is safeguarded in Castle Quill by fire-breathing griffins and was once obtained by Gargamel for him to gain an honest map to the Smurf Village, but Papa Smurf switched it with a replica quill that told only lies, thus saving their village. It was returned safely to Castle Quill afterwards.
- The The Great Book of Spells -- A powerful sentient spell book that is currently in Gargamel's possession. He keeps it in the cellar and will approach the pedestal where it is stationed at dawn on the day of the full moon when he is entitled to as many wishes as desired until sunset of that same day. The book has a sadistic sense of humor and will only serve those who speak to it in rhyme.
- Lord Balthazar's Crystal Staff -- A powerful wooden staff that holds atop a crystal orb, which Lord Balthazar uses to test other objects as a way to verify their magical properties are authentic. While not necessarily his weapon of choice, he has been known to use it to shoot energy bolts at his enemies, which proves quite effective.
- Scruple's Wand -- To be revealed in Crestfallen Christmas.
- The Time Crystals -- A set of magic crystals that originally came with a plethora of Time Scrolls and a red key serving as guides for proper assembly to achieve time travel. The scrolls were destroyed, as was the red key that configurated the crystals to return the Smurfs home after entering a new era. Without them, the crystals were manually reassembled, which caused the group to travel through various locations in their journey to return home. It was finally thanks to some human friends in "Smurfs in the City" that a new guide was produced to speed up the process.
- The Tracing Mirror -- A magic mirror created by Gargamel in "Beyond the Mirror's Reflection" that was intended to turn whomever gazed at their reflection to stone. However, it was damaged shortly after being left in the forest for the Smurfs to find, so it wound up simply showing one their most recent past life, which was harmless to all but Ripple. He suffered strange dreams about the events of his past life, Tebuli, and eventually ended the cycle by destroying the mirror.
