Season Specials
There are several Season Specials planned for Season 4.
- Zombified Smurfs is a Halloween special in which the Smurfs find an elaborately spooky way to celebrate Jokey's birthday. However, it turns out that the danger is real when every Smurf is turned into a hideous zombie! If the transformation is not reversed by sunrise, then they will remain undead beings for all eternity.
- Brainy, Smurfette's True Love is a Holiday episode that takes place on Valentine's Day. It seems that after all the time since Smurfette had claimed she was too young to marry, she is ready to set her sights on her "Prince Charming" and the lucky Smurf is...Brainy? Tension and confusion sweeps up the other Smurfs as they all try to understand what could have brought the Angel in Blue to reach such a decision -- especially Brainy!

Trivia
- Prior to the separation from Season 3, this season was the least developed due to the author's desire to continue following a chronological story setup. However, certain episodes were planned prior to the full completion of Season 4, such as the first three on the list, "Reconciliation for the Wretched", and "Spritely Matrimony." Most others were given titles and brief descriptions to be fleshed out later starting as early as 2017.
- Up until September 9th, 2020, there were no plans for a fifth Season. This decision was finalized after much deliberation about the way in which the Season 4 Finale plays out, including the resolution for most of the characters involved in the plot. This led the author to uncover enough material to continue tying up loose ends, which became the foundation for Season 5.
- The last episode to be named for this season was the Season Finale. The title was officially decided on April 1st, 2021 and announced on this page the following day (and no, it is not a prank).
- The episode, "Peewit's Birthday," was renamed to "Make Magic Mine" on April 26th, 2021 as part of the author's effort to find more creative titles for episodes dedicated to character birthdays and other similar events.
