- This project marks the majority of the original cast members' final time as their respective characters in Smurfy Excursions.
- Originally the special was supposed to be the final installment of the Smurfy Excursions series, but this was no longer the case due to delays of previous projects and the addition of new projects to the 2023 slate.
- This presentation has the highest number of Smurfs to have voice actors.
- Every Smurf from previous The Smurfs media since the 2011 film all return, with the exception of Narrator due to Tom Kane retiring from voice acting. This makes Tom Kane the only original actor to not reprise his role.
