"The Troubled Child" is the 8th episode of Season 2 in The Smurfs: Light and Dark. It is set to run between 8 - 10 minutes in length. It is also the twenty-eighth episode of the overall series.
Synopsis
On the first of October, Johan notices that Scruple is especially angry and distant from him and Gargamel. When their master gives him no good answer about his behavior, Johan takes Scruple with him into the forest to gather ingredients for one of his spells. During their time out, Scruple confesses that it is his 11th birthday, but he did not want to celebrate it because Gargamel would have not cared either way.
Can Johan prove that his fellow apprentice is more valuable than he perceives himself to be?
