The Wake N Bake Brew Shop is a shop that was operated by both Chatty and Nosey Smurf that appeared in the Smurf Village after the legalization of smurfnip in the EMPATH: The Luckiest Smurf story series. While it serves beverages similar to coffee to its customers, it specializes in various types of smurfnip-based products that Smurfs can make use of, including baked goods and even rolled-up cigarettes. This shop, although controversial, began to gather customers that normally frequented Tapper's Tavern for various hot beverages and drew them away.

The shop was originally intended to be a morning only shop for customers to get their hot beverages and smurfnip for the day, but soon after its opening it also became an evening shop for Smurfs to enjoy a relaxing session of smurfnip before turning in for the night. One day the proprietors ended up serving moonberries to the customers instead of smurfnip, which nearly had the shop closed for good when it turned out that the moonberries, although producing a more potent euphoric high, also caused a near-fatal sickness in those who ingested too many of them at a time. Fortunately with a bit of reasoning with Empath, Chatty and Nosey decided that they would stick mostly to hot beverages and smurfnip and not allow any other types of addictive substances to be used in their establishment.

Later on, the Wake N Bake Brew Shop would specialize in various different cultivated blends of smurfnip that its patrons could try out, plus various smurfnip-infused foods and beverages such as "smurfnip ale", where the alcohol is replaced with the psychoactive ingredient of smurfnip.

Arrangement

The main floor of The Wake N Bake Brew Shop consists of a serving counter where customers can get acorn brew, a rolled-up smurfnip cigarette, and also a baked goodie if available. There are also serving tables where the customers can sit and enjoy their goods, which have ashtrays for the cigarettes, as well as bean bag chairs around the outer walls of the shop, which are decorated with all sorts of pictures.

The downstairs of the shop features a kitchen in which baked goodies as well as fresh-ground acorn brew is made.

Rules

1. No one under 100 years of age is permitted to enter the shop.
2. No other psychoactive substances are allowed to be consumed within the shop. (This rule came about after Trenchcoat offered moonberries at the shop.)
3. Please be aware of the effects of smurfnip if you are using it for the first time.

• The idea for the Wake N Bake Brew Shop came from author Vic George hearing about the coffee shops in Amsterdam in the Netherlands that also sell marijuana.
