Vanity is a character who is part of the Expanded Animated Universe.
History[]
Prior to the beginning of the Expanded AU story events, he was one among a hundred young Smurfs being raised and cared for by the village leader and father figure Papa Smurf. A year before the events of the Expanded AU, Vanity was among seventeen Smurfs who have all been lost in time due to the loss of the Ruby Key that controlled the arrangement of the Time Crystals. A year later, he and those same Smurfs all returned to the present time of the story series, with Vanity continuing his usual role among the Smurfs.
Personality[]
His personality is identical to that of his cartoon show counterpart: he is vain and mostly concerned with his physical appearance, which he constantly examines in his hand mirror.
