Lasalle "Vino" Smurf is a Smurf character who is part of the EMPATH: The Luckiest Smurf story series.
History[]
Vino is born the son of Vinetier and Marjorlaine Smurf and the brother of Scribbler Smurf. During his early years as a young Smurf, he was raised mostly in the kitchen helping his parents as well as Baker, Maximilian, Bompastore, and their children with meal preparations. At around 50 years of age, Vino lost both of his parents and was raised mostly by Culliford, who became Papa Smurf.
Personality[]
Vino is usually very friendly, but tends to be a perfectionist when it comes to making wines. This became evident when Snappy worked for him during the time when he and his fellow Smurfs were magically changed into adult Smurfs. Since Snappy was prone to not listening to orders, Vino found him rather difficult to work with and had him fired from his job at the winery.
He likes having Tapper and Empath try out his wine samples before he bottles them. He is a descendant of the Schtroumpf clan and tends to speak with a slight French accent. His favorite food is cheese, which he often eats from the stock that Gelato makes with a glass of wine and some crackers baked by Biscotti.
Role[]
He is Greedy's kitchen helper and understudy who works mostly in the preparation of drinks - particularly smurfberry juice which he makes with the winepress at his winery - as well as oils and vinegars. As his name suggests, Vino will also experiment in the creation of various wines for Tapper Smurf.
Clothing And Appearance[]
Vino usually wears a chef's hat and a napkin tied around his neck like Greedy does.
