Weepy Smurf is a character from the original cartoon show. His Wiki page is located here. He also exists in The Smurfs: Light and Dark.
Background Information
Prior to the events of losing a group of Smurfs thanks to the use of the Time Scrolls that Grandpa Smurf revealed, Weepy could be considered the literal "Town Cryer," given how frequently he could burst into tears. Anything could set him off whether trivial or tragic, so when Weepy cries, most other Smurfs might roll their eyes. However, if something truly saddening were to happen that causes his wailing, then it usually sets off the others in a chain reaction.
Role in the Village

Appearance
Weepy wears a traditional white Smurf hat and trousers, but he is always seen carrying a yellow and orange handkerchief, which he uses to dab at eyes every time he begins to cry. Without it, the village would likely have a lot of "inexplicable" rain puddles during dry weather.
Voice Actor(s)
He was voiced by Mona Marshall in the original cartoon show, and a latter has yet to be decided.
Trivia
- The author chose to color this image during a particularly rough depression spell while listening to "The Working Hour" by Tears for Fears on a loop. It was the most fitting time to do so, and it helped to rise above that dark time.
